I have had the iq700 for about 3 months. Its fantastic. It was a bit complicated to get the correct extractor piece but it was an easy install into an ikea oak worktop. Probably the biggest question - does the extractor fan work? Yes. Frying bacon, steak - making chicken stock, the smell stays within about a metre of the hob, no steamy windows. That is on automatic, i never really have to manually set the extractor. I have it only on recirculation and its great. Its not as loud as normal over the head extractors. Of course it doesnt stop fat spitting everwhere - but then it wouldnt. Its super easy to take the extractor pieces out and clean in the dishwasher.
The controls are easy to use - i use the frying function a lot.
It looks really cool too. I ordered the cleaning kit of the siemens website and that easily dealt with the burnt on fat stains which Jif or window cleaner wont get off.
The price was great - i got the money off with the innovation voucher deal.
Its super flexible with moving things around and can fit loads of pans and pots at the same time (a real test was at christmas but it was easy).
In summary, a great piece of kit. Great value and the extractor works a treat.
